Information

Introduction
Superconducting(SC) cryostat is a device that provides a cryogenic temperature (1.8K~ 4.2K), ultra-high vacuum ( ≥5×10-4pa) adiabatic environment and adiabatic support for accelerator superconducting cavity, superconducting magnet and other internal acceleration units.
The cryostat is mainly composed of vacuum vessel, thermal shield, adiabatic hanging mechanism(support), gas-liquid separator, several series superconducting He vessels, superconducting magnets/cavity, and the temperature, pressure, liquid level and other measurement and control units.
The cryogenic liquid is transferred from the infusion pipeline to the gas-liquid separator of the cryogenic cryostat, and then transferred to the superconducting acceleration unit by the distribution system, which will satisfy the stable temperature required by the superconducting cavity and superconducting magnet for long-term operation.
Superconducting cavity and superconducting magnet provide electric field and magnetic field for charged particles respectively, so as to accelerate and constrain the particles, make them move in a predetermined orbit and accelerate continuously, and finally obtain high-energy particles of target energy level, which provides necessary conditions for scientific research.


Features
(1) The cryostat is of box structure, suitable for serial installation of various types of superconducting cavity, with neat and beautiful appearance and easy combination of serial;
(2) The heat shield adopts aluminum and finned coil welding method, which is convenient for manufacturing and installation.
(3) The post mechanism with high strength and low thermal conductivity is adopted as the support structure of the internal superconducting cavity cryogenic unit and the external vacuum cavity, which solves the problem of strong support with low heat leakage.
(4) Design several sets of internal and external collimation mechanisms to meet the collimation requirements of installation and low temperature, and ensure the proper position of each superconducting acceleration unit at ROOM temperature and low temperature.
